Spain is forecasting a citrus harvest of 5.7 million tons for the 2026/27 season. This projection highlights the country's continued dominance in the global fruit market.
According to Food Business Africa, Spain currently leads the world in the value of fresh citrus trade, representing approximately 25 per cent of all global exports.
