This Legal Notice provides sole trader operator details, contact channels, tax status, and dispute resolution information for The Yum Pandemic.

3. Payment and Tax Notice

  • Stripe Managed Payments: Paid subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe or Stripe Link acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Ordinary Stripe Payments is not used as a fallback, and The Yum Pandemic does not store full payment card details.
  • Country Scope: New paid subscriptions are available only for customer countries covered by the current Stripe Managed Payments country policy for this digital subscription. Customers are solely responsible for honestly and accurately declaring their country of residence and providing a consistent billing country to Stripe or Link.
  • Tax Boundary: Managed Payments handles indirect-tax compliance only within its current coverage. If a transaction falls outside that coverage, The Yum Pandemic may retain indirect-tax and invoicing obligations that cannot be transferred to the customer by contract.
  • Public Details: Stripe has confirmed that the private account-representative address is not customer-facing. Customer documents use only public business details deliberately configured for that purpose where required.

5. Governing Law and Disputes

  • Governing Law: This notice and our legal relations are governed by the laws of Cyprus.
  • Courts / Dispute Forum: The courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any disputes, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
  • Consumer Rights Savings: Nothing in this Legal Notice restricts, limits, or excludes any statutory consumer rights that cannot be contractually waived under the laws of your country of residence.
  • Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): EU consumers have the right to submit disputes to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

6. Liability Notice

  • Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the subscription amount you paid for the subscription period giving rise to the claim.
  • Free Accounts: If you use a Free account and have paid no subscription amount for the relevant period, our aggregate liability is limited to EUR 0 where permitted by applicable law.
  • Consumer Rights Savings: Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited, including non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
