Mars has partnered with Save the Children to launch the Women R.I.S.E. Program. This project involves a 3 million dollar investment focused on empowering women who work in the cocoa sector within Indonesia.
According to FoodNavigator Europe, the initiative is designed to increase resilience among female farmers while simultaneously working to protect children. The programme seeks to provide better support systems for those operating in the cocoa supply chain.
