Farmers in Kakamega are receiving new avocado and banana seedlings as part of a strategic push towards better watershed management. The initiative aims to integrate sustainable planting practices within the local agricultural landscape.
According to Food Business Africa, the project includes a comprehensive support plan. Extension visits are scheduled for all 432 participating farmers over the next two years to ensure the seedlings are managed effectively.
