Togo has officially set its producer prices for coffee and cocoa for the 2026-27 season. This move comes as the nation seeks to stabilise its agricultural sector following a significant decline in exports for both commodities.
According to Food Business Africa, the government is placing a stronger emphasis on transparency and traceability. There is also a strategic push to expand local processing capabilities for cocoa to add more value within the country.
