The Food and Drug Administration has launched investigations into three distinct outbreaks of foodborne illnesses. These cases involve the parasite Cyclospora, as well as Salmonella and Listeria.
According to Food Safety News, the Cyclospora outbreak has affected 72 patients. This specific incident appears to be separate from another larger outbreak of the same parasite currently being investigated across 34 states.
