Lidl US has increased the scope of a recall first announced on 24 July. The alert now includes all Eridanous Shortbread Cookies that feature foreign language nutrition facts and ingredients panels.
The affected items include Eridanous Shortbread Cookies and those with apricot filling and chocolate truffle coating in 330g boxes. According to Food Safety News, the recall is necessary because the products contain allergens that were not declared on the packaging.
