Yili proposes new global dairy framework

The Chinese dairy giant is calling for industry-wide collaboration focused on digital intelligence and sustainability.

Yili Group chairman and president Pan Gang has urged the global dairy sector to establish a more collaborative ecosystem. Speaking at the World Dairy Conference, Pan outlined a vision based on three core pillars: innovation, green development and digital intelligence.

As part of this strategy, the company intends to utilise its Dairy Data Intelligence Hub to support a new digital ecosystem. The goal is to create shared value across the supply chain and better address future industry challenges.

According to FoodNavigator Europe, Yili is one of the five largest dairy firms in the world. While the company has pushed for increased data sharing and sustainable production, few specific operational details have been released regarding how these ecosystems will function in practice.
