Ghana COCOBOD has initiated a series of nationwide consultations to educate stakeholders on a new cocoa law. The campaign aims to ensure that farmers and industry participants fully understand the updated legal framework.
According to Food Business Africa, the move comes as concerns rise regarding the penalties associated with the new legislation. Specifically, there is apprehension over sanctions for those who convert cocoa farms for other agricultural uses.
