Cocoa processor Guan Chong has announced a significant increase in profits, reaching US$62.58 million in Q2 2026. According to Food Business Africa, this represents a fivefold surge in earnings despite a dip in overall revenue.
The company attributed the growth to stronger margins. Looking ahead, Guan Chong is focusing on an industrial chocolate strategy and the expansion of its operations in the Ivory Coast to secure long-term growth.
