The UK food and drinks industry is poised for significant growth following a trade deal with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). According to a report by Just Food, the agreement will see the removal of approximately £580m in import tariffs.
The chief of the Food and Drink Federation has described the deal as an exciting opportunity for domestic producers to expand their reach and increase exports to the region.
