The European Parliament has voted in favour of new reforms designed to bolster the bargaining power of farmers across the bloc. The legislation, which received 560 votes of support, focuses on increasing price transparency within the agricultural sector.
Alongside these protections, the new rules will introduce tighter regulations regarding food labelling. According to a report by FDI Forum, these measures aim to provide clearer information for consumers and ensure fairer trading conditions for producers.
