AI System Boosts Aqaba Port Logistics

AI System Boosts Aqaba Port Logistics

A new artificial intelligence truck system is streamlining thousands of daily movements at Jordan's Aqaba Port.

Maqta Ayla has introduced an AI-driven truck system designed to manage the heavy flow of logistics at Aqaba Port. The technology is helping to coordinate the movement of goods more efficiently within the port area.

According to Food Business Africa, the system has seen a significant increase in capacity. While it initially managed around 2,000 trucks per day, it now processes between 3,500 and 4,000 daily movements.

The infrastructure is also proving capable of handling extreme surges, with traffic reaching over 4,500 trucks on peak days.
