The Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority has ordered an immediate nationwide recall of several alcoholic beverage brands. This action follows a crackdown on products deemed unsafe for public consumption.
According to Food Business Africa, the regulator has shut down eight different alcohol manufacturers as part of the safety operation. The move aims to remove hazardous drinks from the market and protect consumers.
