Cameroon Cocoa Earnings Plunge

Export revenues for Cameroon cocoa have dropped by 63 per cent during the 2025-26 season.

Cameroon has seen a significant decline in its cocoa sector performance. According to Food Business Africa, export earnings have fallen by 63 per cent for the 2025-26 period.

The downturn is attributed to a combination of lower marketed production and a rise in inventories. These factors, coupled with weaker international prices, have led to a sharp reduction in overall export volumes.
