The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has officially approved the use of a new sweetener known as the salt of aspartame-acesulfame.
According to a report by FoodNavigator Europe, the regulatory body has given the go-ahead for this specific sweetener salt to be utilised within the food industry.
