Leaping Bear Farm is recalling egg cartons dated between 1 June and 5 September. The move follows the discovery of Salmonella in both environmental samples and the eggs themselves by Vermont health and agriculture officials.
According to Food Safety News, the affected products were distributed through various retailers and local farmers markets. Health officials in Vermont have already linked 14 cases to the outbreak.
