Metal Contamination Sparks Cobbler Recall

Metal Contamination Sparks Cobbler Recall

Thousands of pounds of spaghetti and chicken cobbler are being withdrawn from shelves following reports of metal fragments.

Ukrop's Homestyle Foods, based in Richmond, Virginia, is recalling 22,880 pounds of its baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler. The action follows a consumer complaint regarding the presence of metal slivers within the food.

The recall was announced by the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). According to Food Safety News, the products are being pulled due to the risk of contamination from this foreign material.
