A petting zoo has resumed operations after being linked to a series of health complications in young visitors. According to Food Safety News, the facility was connected to cases of hemolytic uraemic syndrome, a serious condition that can lead to kidney failure.
The outbreak resulted in eight children being admitted to the hospital. The reopening follows an investigation into the cause of the illness and the implementation of safety measures to prevent further cases.
