Industry Giants Back Regenerative Farming

Forty leading food and drink firms have committed to speeding up the adoption of regenerative agriculture across their supply chains.

A coalition of forty major food companies, including Carlsberg, Unilever, Mondelēz International, and FrieslandCampina, has pledged to accelerate the use of regenerative agriculture. The move aims to integrate more sustainable farming methods into their global supply networks.

According to FoodNavigator Europe, while the industry is increasingly embracing these agricultural techniques, there remains a gap in consumer understanding. Many shoppers are not yet familiar with what regenerative agriculture entails or how it differs from standard sustainable practices.
