Retail prices for beef have remained largely stagnant, dropping by only 2 per cent this month. This trend persists even as the volume of duty-free beef imports has expanded.
According to Food Industry Executive, the Input Cost Index has continued to decline for another week. However, these lower costs and increased import availability have not yet translated into significant savings for the consumer at the checkout.
