Public health officials in California are investigating an outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 linked to beef kofta. The contaminated food was served at multiple locations of The Kebab Shop restaurant chain.
According to Food Safety News, the chain has voluntarily stopped selling grilled beef kofta across all its sites. Local health departments are currently working with federal partners to manage the investigation.
