Approximately 20 people have fallen ill following a Salmonella outbreak in a region of Greece. The local hospital in Lamia first alerted authorities to the cases earlier this month.
According to Food Safety News, the Hellenic National Public Health Organisation (EODY) is currently working with local officials to investigate the source of the infection. Advice has been issued to residents in the Lamia area as the probe continues.
