Rooted in Rare Aquafaba Powder Recalled

A Florida-based company is recalling thousands of aquafaba powder units due to undeclared egg ingredients.

The company 529 Commerce LLC, based in Parkland, Florida, has issued a recall for its Rooted in Rare brand Aquafaba Powder. The action affects 3,860 units across both 4 ounce and 12 ounce packaging sizes.

According to Food Safety News, the recall was triggered because the product may contain undeclared egg. This poses a significant health risk to individuals with severe sensitivities or allergies to egg products.
