UK monitoring produced a mixed picture of Salmonella in 2025, with detections becoming more frequent in chickens but less common in pigs and raw meat-based pet food, Food Safety News reports.
The Animal and Plant Health Agency compiled findings from animals, feeding material and animal by-products across England, Wales and Scotland.
