A significant outbreak of Cyclospora has been linked to lettuce produced by Taylor Farms. According to Food Safety News, more than 6,000 patients have been identified as part of the health crisis.
The contamination has spread across 15 different states. Affected areas include Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
