The SAI Platform has unveiled the Regenerating Together Programme (RTP), an initiative designed to scale regenerative agriculture by solving the industry's measurement problem. The project provides a consistent framework for verifying outcomes across various farming systems, moving away from fragmented reporting.
According to DairyReporter, the programme is supported by more than 40 global agrifood companies. It focuses on outcome-based metrics and independent verification to ensure that claims regarding sustainable farming are accurate and transparent.
The RTP was developed through collaboration with multiple stakeholders and has undergone testing in 25 different countries. The goal is to provide farmers with practical tools that prioritise their agency while implementing regenerative practices at scale.
