Massive Egg Recall Over Salmonella Fears

Over 1.5 million dozen eggs from Texas farms are being withdrawn from sale due to potential contamination.

Midwest Poultry Services L.P. has issued a major recall affecting 1,589,577 dozen eggs. The recall includes both brown cage free and white shell eggs produced in Texas.

According to Food Safety News, the products may be contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis. The affected eggs were produced and distributed from various Texas farms between 6 June and July.
