Cardiff Metropolitan University is leading a new initiative called the Smart Hygiene Intelligence project. The study aims to investigate the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing food safety practices across various environments.
According to Food Safety News, the project has been awarded £176,000 in funding from Behavioural Research UK. Dr. Issam Damaj will lead the research into how AI technology can influence and improve hygiene behaviours both at home and in professional settings.
