A man in Poland has been charged with threatening to contaminate food unless he received a ransom in Bitcoin, Food Safety News reports.
The indictment followed an investigation overseen by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Opole. Poland’s Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime also assisted with the case.
