Joice and Hill Poultry has revealed the significant financial impact of a Salmonella contamination event. The company expects the incident to cost approximately £2.1 million.
According to Food Safety News, the contamination occurred between 23 March and 10 April this year. This led to the closure of the firm's hatchery site during the affected period.
