Coffee growers in Tanzania have seen a significant boost in income, with farmers in the Kagera region earning more than US$10.98 million. This surge is attributed to robust pricing during recent coffee auctions.
According to Food Business Africa, the increase in earnings is being driven by high levels of demand from both domestic and international markets. The Kagera region remains the primary area for Robusta production in the country.
