The New South Wales Food Authority has dismissed assertions made during a television broadcast suggesting that horse meat was detected in food products. These claims were linked to comments made by the NSW Greens.
According to a report by Food Safety News, the agency confirmed it has found no evidence of horse meat in beef, lamb, or any other food intended for human consumption.
