The US Food and Drug Administration has expanded its alert over cinnamon containing dangerously high lead levels, taking the number of listed products to 21.
Food Safety News says the latest addition is Wise Wife ground cinnamon from SLR Food Distribution Inc. The product was collected by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station’s Department of Analytical Chemistry.
