Health officials are tracking a multi-country Salmonella outbreak that has affected more than 100 individuals across Europe.
According to Food Safety News, alfalfa sprouts have been identified as the primary food vehicle for the bacteria. There are also concerns that other types of sprouted seeds may be involved in the spread of the illness.
