GT Lines has announced the launch of the Khorfakkan Tanzania Express, a new maritime service designed to strengthen trade links between the UAE and East Africa. The operation is scheduled to begin in mid-August.
According to Food Business Africa, the service will employ two ships to maintain a consistent schedule. Vessels are expected to facilitate trade by running between Khorfakkan and Dar es Salaam every ten days.
