The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued penalties to two major industry players. Retailer Coles Group and processor Brownes Dairy have each been ordered to pay A$39,600.
According to a report by FDI Forum, the fines follow alleged breaches of the mandatory dairy code of conduct. The action highlights the regulator's commitment to enforcing fair trading standards within the sector.
