Denmark Tracks Salmonella Outbreaks

Health officials are investigating a series of Salmonella cases affecting over 20 people across the country.

The Statens Serum Institut (SSI) has identified 25 cases of monophasic Salmonella Typhimurium in Denmark. The outbreak has been tracked since mid-May and has affected both men and women.

According to Food Safety News, the patients range in age from 8 to 81 years old. Authorities are currently working to determine the source of the infections.
