Lehi Valley Trading Company, based in Mesa, Arizona, has issued a recall for 624 units of its High Valley Orchard chocolate covered raisins. The 15-ounce packages were found to contain peanuts that were not listed on the packaging.
According to Food Safety News, the omission poses a significant risk to individuals with peanut allergies, who could suffer serious or life-threatening reactions if the product is consumed.
