The CDC has officially declared an end to a Salmonella outbreak that was traced back to several moringa leaf powder products. Following the announcement, the FDA has also closed its investigation into the matter.
According to Food Safety News, the outbreak resulted in 131 confirmed infections as of 22 July 2026. The cases were linked to various strains of the bacteria found within the powdered supplements.
