The United States government is lifting a ban on cattle imports from Mexico. This move is designed to combat high beef prices and reduce grocery inflation across the country.
According to Food Dive, the restrictions were originally put in place to stop the spread of a deadly livestock parasite. The USDA is now removing these barriers to increase supply.
